Purpose/Objective:
We tried to improve dose conformity and parotid gland sparing in radiotherapy of patients with concave-shaped pharyngeal tumors, by using static step-and-shoot or dynamic Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), which was compared with two-dimensional conventional radiation therapy (2DRT).
