Purpose/Objective:
There is conflicting data regarding the outcome of patients harboring a family history of prostate cancer treated with external beam radiotherapy but no data on patients treated with brachytherapy. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of a known family history of prostate cancer on the biochemical control rate of localized prostate cancer treated with low-dose rate brachytherapy.
