About the Presenter:
INFN Research Associate since 1974, Associate Professor of Physics at the Facolta' di Farmacia of the Universita' di Torino since 1988, Full Professor in Physics of the Facolta' di Scienze Matematiche Fisiche Naturali of the same university since 2002. Corresponding member of the Accademia delle Scienze di Torino. Teaching activities: courses in Medical Physics and Health Physics Laboratory for Physics Students, Physics Technologies in Biology, Radiation Dosimetry at the Scuola di Specializzazione in Fisica Sanitaria (post lauream). Research activities in the fields of experimental elementary particle physics and medical physics, with main interests in the development of devices for the dosimetry and monitoring of therapeutical beams of photons, electrons and hadrons. She has been thesis advisor of graduate (Dottorato) and undergraduate (Laurea) Physics students in both fields of main interest. Author of over 200 articles published in international journals and of several contributions to workshops and conferences in Italy and abroad.
