Conclusions:
These data suggest that more favorable PSA and biopsies outcomes result when Pd-103 is used for permanent prostate brachytherapy and higher radiation (D90) doses are achieved. Significant improvement in these outcomes can be achieved when delivered doses exceed 150 Gy.
